About Me:
Speaker & Poet

Traci Neal

  • Born March 8, 1989.

  • Originally from Hopkins, SC.

  • Discovers her gift of poetry at age 14.

  • The discovery comes from her 7th-grade teacher from Hopkins Middle School.

  • The class assignment is to write a poetry book.

  • Poetry becomes her outlet from bullying & low-self esteem.

  • Her passion for public speaking comes ten years later.

  • Initially does not see writing as a "stable career".

  • Kept trying to become an elementary school teacher.

  • Fails the Praxis II Exam 10x.

  • Feels like a total failure.

  • God had a different plan.

  • Through spiritual guidance in character development at church, Word of God Church & Ministries International with Bishop Eric W. Davis, she becomes a better woman of God.

  • Now wants to share her life lessons in her book series, Lynn Learns Lessons, to help inspire youth.

  • Target readers are from 8 to 12 years old.

  • There are eight more books to write.

  • Believes Jesus is the better option! Everything else left her empty.

  • Favorite thing to tell people- "The world does not impress me!"
